CESIE is a European centre of studies and initiatives, established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of the sociologist and pacifict Danilo Dolci (1924-1997).
CESIE is committed to stimulating development and change in cultural, educational and economic spheres through the creation and use of innovative educational tools and opportunities.. The organisation is divided into six units which work together and manage activities in their specific fields: Youth, School, Migration, Adult, Rights and Justice, Higher Education and Research.

Our Youth Unit promotes the abroad mobility of young people, improving their personal and vocational skills through the learning mobility experience. We support placements and host trainings and events in different sectors thanks to our wide established network of trainers, experts, SMEs, large businesses, public institutions and third sectors actors (in Palermo and all Sicily).
CESIE has a wide past experience, above all in terms of :
